"Venus In The Trees" is a much different collection of original songs than my previous two efforts.  The first thing one will notice is that eight of the nine tunes have singers and lyrics.  The second thing one will notice is that there are four different vocalists singing these eight songs—five by Michelle Lockey, one by Susane Asher ("Empty Wells"), one by Beyhan Cagri Trock ("Dreams Of Me"), and one by Stephen Bloodsworth ("It's Not Clear To Me").  The next thing one will notice is that many of my musical friends were involved with the arranging, performing, recording, and mixing of many of the compositions.  And the last thing one will notice is that I have chosen to include a tune that I did not write.  Special thanks to Susane Asher for permitting me to include the remix of "Empty Wells"—a very special song.  "Empty Wells" originally appeared on Plastic Sky's EP titled "Artifacts."
