Welcome to Mindsongs Musique!

Vocal Sampler

Folks have often asked me if my songs have words.  My answer is always "yes!"  Then I say ... "if only I could find a singer!"  Now fate has brought me not one, but two, singers!

My friend and drummer, Kara, knew Emily and her skills at crafting wonderful soundspaces with her unique vocal styling.  Emily has posted some of her own compositions on the ReverbNation Web Site.  Click here to take a listen!  I feel so blessed to be able to work with her!  I just sent her four more songs to study up on!

Meanwhile—my friend and former co-worker, Maureen, is an amazing singer who has sung in most of local jazz clubs in the Washington, DC area and continues to sing with various bands doing both cover songs and a few originals thrown in for good measure.  She also teaches vocal technique to an ever growning number of eager students.  One evening after dinner, she offered to sing one of my songs—and I accepted!

Do enjoy this first posting of songs with singing!  There will be more!

[PLEASE NOTE that all songs posted on this page are DEMOS and work-in-progress.]
